Richard Dallalana specialises in arthroscopic reconstruction of the shoulder for sports injuries and rotator cuff tears. He performs shoulder joint replacement for arthritis using computer-assisted surgery.
Richard completed his undergraduate medical degree at the University of Melbourne in 1993, then trained at St. Vincent’s Hospital.
He is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and a member of the Australian Orthopaedic Association.
Further post-graduate orthopaedic training was undertaken in both Canada and England in Sports Medicine, Shoulder, Elbow and Knee surgery.
He is host of a Shoulder and Elbow fellowship training program, co-ordinator of clinical research in private practice and with Melbourne university, and a design and educational consultant to industry.
Richard is the director of upper limb services at the Epworth Musculoskeletal Institute
